How events can be your best digital marketing activity.

Do you run events as part of your marketing and/or client acquisition strategy?

We have been running events since 2009 and back then they were on the hot topic of social media. Initially we had 15-20 people attend a 2 hour session for $45 and by 2012 we’d have 70+ people attend all day events at the RACV Club.

These events were resource hungry, stressful and at the end of the day didn’t add significant dollars to the bottom line. Shouldn’t all events deliver that?

Fast-forward to 2015 and we still run events but each event typically delivers a new client or two with a project value of $50k+.

So what’s different? Plenty!

Our Advanced Digital Marketing and Client Acquisition events held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are highly targeted to partners and marketers in professional service firms.

We typically charge $167 per person and provide a quality two-course lunch with wines and present high value in-depth content over 2.5 hours.

However the biggest change is that most of the attendees have been a part of our online community for at least 90 days and some for as long as 3 years. They receive weekly Insights emails, download valuable eBooks and guides and fully understand our value proposition.

For some of the attendees the event acts as a final review of our capabilities and expertise. They get to meet more of our team, some of our other clients or prospects and walk away confident in our ability to deliver on our promises.

Our events deliver on our “Education is the New Marketing” mantra and are imbedded in our strategic nurturing process.
