What’s more important to a prospective client – your office or your website?

What’s more important to a prospective client – your office or your website?

By Jim Thompson

How many prospective clients do you have out there?

I’m not talking about ones that you have on your database – how many possible potential clients do you actually have out there, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands even?

How many of them are going to see or visit your office?

Yes I know we all need to have one, well most of us anyway and we all like somewhere nice to work but how much did you spend on its fit out and what are the ongoing costs?

How many of those prospects would see your website or online presence before they came anywhere near your office?

How much did you spend on your website and how much are you spending in dollars and time on maintaining your online presence?

Where would you spend your money if you had no clients?

Last question – How much new business can your office generate for you as opposed to a well executed lead generation focused online presence?

I know where I’d rather spend my money.
